Equipment Management Australia was established in 2013 by Father Son, Richard and Geoffrey Sharwood.
Richard’s background is based in the maintenance & service of heavy diesel earth moving equipment, plant & hydraulics.
Geoffrey as a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in the Oil & Gas industries & Emergency Services
Together with a history of Mining and Aviation background we have created a unique business concept, understanding how vital vehicle/equipment serviceability & maintenance downtime turnarounds are.
Being a Diesel Mechanical workshop EMA has the know how and experience from Minor/Major service requirements to major repairs for all leading truck and LCV manufactures.
We work closely with Major Dealerships to ensure genuine parts are used and installed against correct installation procedures. We train our mechanics to become familiar with correct use of specialized tooling and mechanical proceedures to ensure our high standard of practice is maintained.

We are recommended repairers for Isuzu, Man, Mercedes Benz, Toyota & equipment such as Cappellotto and DitchWitch. We work closely with major equipment lease providers ORIX and Toyota Fleet Services. These large dealerships recognize the size and type of clients we service and so support us with direct and priority access to parts, technical information and support. This priority status helps keep us a step above our competitors.
There is a collective of specialist in their fields who also support our fully qualified mechanics in our workshop in providing us with expertise in; auto electrical, structural engineering & light vehicle technicians. As well as our Research & Development team providing solutions to safety improvements on vehicles which includes the i-ARS system.
Our Mechanics are trained in the correct use of Torque wrenches to ensure the correct torque is applied to wheel nuts prior to the installation of slippage indicators.
Through out the years Equipment Management have always had the capabilities to perform on-site maintenance. Mid 2020, we took on the project to design and implement the concept of removable Safety Rail system on our client's tray back fleet.
Fabricated in house. Due to the work requirements and regional locations these vehicles travel, it was in our interest to carry out installations on site inorder to close the safety concern in timely manner.
